Highest Fingerhut CL? (Fingerhut Review)

I received a $500 increase over the weekend without requesting or making a purchase so now the credit line is sitting at $1700.00. My last purchase was made in February 2014 and it was paid off by April 2014. I made 3 even payments between March and April.

Just wanted to update. I woke up yesterday morning to a $600 increase, bringing me to $1200. No orders since June, and on time minimum payments for 5 months. This was my second increase. 

Did anyone here notice an increase in Fico after receiving their higher limit? (while keeping other card balances the same?)

Hi, I'm new to myFICO.com. I was just wondering if maybe somone could help me with a FH question? I have had my FH account since December of last year, never been behind on a payment, utilization has been a bit high (just now found out that utilization even played a key roll in anything!) but still I paid more than what was required each month. And never once have I had a CLI. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I started in early to mid August 2014. Approved for revolving account with $500 CL. Purchased countertop oven that shipped on 8/15/2014. Total financed was around $145, paid down to $100 before first statement cut on 9/9/14. Paid $40 last week and signed on to schedule payment for $60 remaining balance on 10/1 and noticed increase from $500 CL to $900 CL.

My grandma'a credit limit was $1700. She had her acct for a year and racked up like $800 in charges because she bought an extremely overpriced vacuum and carpet shampooer among other things. Anyway, after carrying a balance for a few months but paying above the minimum payment monthly she paid it all off. After paying it off, they decreased her credit limit by $800. Seems kind of messed up.

Just wanted to update. After 11 months, 4 orders and and almost only minimum payments.... I've just gotten a $1000 increase from Fingerhut bringing my total limit to $2200. I have a current balance of $357 and a high limit of $571. Still happy with Fingerhut! My overall utilization of credit is at 16%. This cli will bring it below 10%.

Congrats. Mine is up to $1250 now after 3 increases in 10 months. I'm thinking of closing it since I recently picked up WAY better cards and can't imagine ever buying from Fingerhut again.
