I am currently in recovery mode following a foreclosure that was completed about a year and a half ago. As you can see below, my scores are not too horrible at this point, as I have worked hard since the foreclosure to turn things around. I was just wondering what the highest score is that you have seen/experienced with a foreclosure on board? I know over time that the impact should be less and less, however certainly some impact over the entire seven years. What is highest you have seen someone achieve with a foreclosure? I am knocking on the door of 700 (and over 700 according to EQ and Discover), but wondering if in a couple or few years 720-725 or even higher might be possible?
Sincerely appreciate thoughts and experiences!
Anything is possible just depends on how agressive of a rebuild you undertake, with little effort from myself in 2011 I had a short sale drop and a Fico of 701 at the time. Though mine was not a full on FC it still is a negative since it was settled for less than full balance,.
You've done a great job, keep it going,
You have excellent scores for being that close to a foreclosure. Yes, time will only help & your scores will continue to improve if you stay on the track you are one. Keep up the good work!
Those are pretty good scores after foreclosure!

My FC was 5+ years ago. Had 1 CC at the time, and never paid attention to my credit, so i don't know how low my score got.. but i'm pretty sure it was dreadful. I didn't start monitoring/taking care of my credit until around January/February of this year, and all CC's in my signature have been obtained in the last year (all but 2 since February). I've been as high as 701EQ (699 right now). I also have a 120+ late on the one CC I had, and closed, since my FC, and a Judgement that was paid and due to fall off in July.

Thanks! I have been working hard on it. Probably the best cure now is time.
Can anyone else share what they experienced as far as scores after say 3 to 4 years?
I have gotten up to 686 with my FC on mine, my scores dropped due to high UTL which I know I can get back down and I am not buying anything right away so I have no worries. You can do it, just keep pushing forward and time will also be your friend.
