I originally posted on the BK board...no replies.

My husband's chapter 7  is showing on our business credit reports.  It was not filed on/for the business just his personal. 

How does one go about getting this removed??  Or is that not possible?

I dont know anything about business credit.. If its not supposed to be on there, just dispute it with the CRA's.  You can do it online or send a dispute snail mail.  Sorry I cant help with the legality of it  =/

Dispute with all CRAs reporting.........I would do so by fax or CMRRR.  Give them the BK case #  OR copy of BK papers

First of all, the FDCPA doesn't apply to businesses, so most of the tactics we learn here are useless for business credit reports.

Second, what is the form of your business? Unless it is a corporation, it is probably appropriate for your personal bankruptcy to show up on a business report.
