How Long Can A Judgement Stay on My Credit

How long can a car dealership keep a satisfied judgement on my credit?  It was satisfied 2/2009 and it is also reporting on my credit twice.  Can I request to have the item removed from my credit.  Especialy since I sold the car and paid the car in full.  Any Ideas....

A judgment, paid or unpaid stays for 7 years from date filed.

If it is satisifed, see if your state allows for vacating a satisfied judgment.

Is it the exact same judgment, same docket number, date filed, etc?

The duplicated information is the dame - Docket number, file date, satisifed date.

You can dispute the duplicate with the CRAs and they should remove that one.  But to get it entirely removed you will need to see if it can be vacated.
