How Should Satisfied Judgment Report?

Satisfaction of Judgment was filed in the court 7/18/14 and was updated in the online system that day. On 7/20 I was able to download a copy of the paperwork. I contacted all three CRAs on 7/18. Experian got back to me today with an update of "remains" as opposed to "updated." There's no change to the way it reported before and after.

How should it read when Satisified?

It currently reads (same as it has since it first hit my report in 2012):

Name of County Court

 Address:

No phone number available

Identification Number:

Judgment in favor of:
MIDLAND FUNDING LLC.

 Address Identification Number:

 Status:
  Civil claim judgment.

Status Details:
This item is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2019.

 Date Filed:
 01/2012

 Date Resolved:
 N/A

Claim Amount:
$3,987

Liability Amount:
N/A

Responsibility:
Individual

 Your Statement:
 N/A

I've sent them a copy of the Satisfaction. Still waiting on EQ and TU to report back to me.

Re: How Should Satisfied Judgment Report?

File a complaint with the CFPB on each of the CRAs that refuses to update it to paid status, they do have to do it and what you posted is not kosher its still a pending unpaid judgment.

Re: How Should Satisfied Judgment Report?

Thanks gdale - that's what I thought. I can't believe both EX and EQ have come back with no change in status when anyone with the case number can see the status in the court records online. I'll be calling them tomorrow. I have a copy of the Satisfaction. I didn't even contact them to update until it was filed. If they don't comply, CFPB will definitely be the next step!

Re: How Should Satisfied Judgment Report?

I thought TU was going to come through for me as it listed "newly reported," but when I got to the update, all that had changed was a date - "Date Updated: 7/18/14" but it doesn't state what the update is! I'm not missing anything am I? This, to me, does not read as satisfied.

I uploaded docs to EQ, faxed to EX, called them both and they said they'd look into it. Now I'm going to have to call TU.

**bleep** is wrong with the CRAs? The Satisfaction was clearly filed on the 18th and anyone with the case number can look up the records online so why can't they get it right??

Re: How Should Satisfied Judgment Report?

And Equifax is first across the line with updated as "Satisfied."
