How can I get EQ to delete a PAID tax judgement and lien?

I have a paid tax judgement and lien from 1995.  It never showed up on EX and I disputed it with TU and it was just deleted.  I have disputed with EQ online (Iknow, I know, I shouldn't have done that!) and asked them to verify the status of this.  They say they verified it.  It only took 3 days.   How can I get them to reinvestigate this directly with the state tax people and not just through E-Oscar?  Obviously, they did not verify it with TU, so I'm thinking that if EQ actually contacted them, they would not be able to verify.  Help please!

Was it paid in 1995 or is that when it was entered on your CR?

My bad.  It was 2005, not 1995 and it was paid in June of '05.  I guess I just don't want to acknowledge how old I'm getting

Paid tax liens stay on your CR 7 years from the date paid.

Was it a federal tax lien?  Contact the IRS and see if they will remove it.

State lien?  Contact the state and see what you need to do to have it removed early.

They don't have to remove them but they may.
