How come my inquiry that's over 2 years old is still on my report?

I just refreshed my credit report today and it still has an inquiry from 5-18-2009. I thought they're supposed to drop off the report after 2 years?

Where did you pull your report from? I've noticed on my CCT reports, I have some 2009 stuff on there - but when I pull from MyFico it says I have 0 inquiries.

Starting Score: TU: 550 EQ: 556 (pulled 6/2010)
Current Score: (pulled 4/18/11) TU: 668(pulled 4/18/2011) EQ: 741
Goal Score: Above 700 on both

Try refreshing your report June 1 and see if it still shows, I believe I've read that it sometimes takes till the end of the month.

If its still there June 1, maybe call the CRA and see what you can have done with their assistance.

That's on your Experian credit report, right?

Equifax and TransUnion drop the inquiries exactly on the two-year mark.  EX drops them during the first week to ten days of the following month.
