I hope I'm in the right place for this, I’m aware the way to win to is to make them prove that they have the right to collect the amount they’re suing for but I’m not sure how to do this since I’ve never fought in court. I would like to make simple bullet points to follow. Please let me know if the examples below sound okay and add any information that might help.
1. Prove to me that I owe the money and that the amount is correct by way of bill of sale, an “assignment”, or a receipt between the last creditor holding the debt and the Plaintiff.
2. Provide a copy of the original written agreement between the parties, such as the loan note or credit card agreement signed by me.
3. Provide balance information on the account from zero to present
