As the subject indicates, I'm curious how to get a ExperianFico Fico score? I have monitoring with free credit reprt and know tht Myfico.com doesn't provide ExperianFico scores so how do I get it?

Experian stopped providing their FICO scores to consumers a coulple years ago. No one sells it, not even themselves. You have to have a lender pull or belong to a particular CU in Pennsylvania that provides it to their customers. Sorry.

PSECU member's can get it, but they do not allow consumers to purchase scores now.
Also, not sure how accurate the EX FICO is that AMEX reports in their denial letters, but I've gotten a couple and they state "Experian FICO score on scale up to 850" and I called them to verify that it was a real FICO and they confirmed it for me that it was.

What is that EX Vantage score that they sell on their site? I bought it for $7.95, but don't know what its used for or how close it would be to the EX FICO score.

It's their own score. No real correlation to your FICO score.

I'll also add that FICO has a range of 300-850 and Vantage of 501-990. Each factor accounts differently and the scores would be different. You can also get a TU Vantage from CreditKarma.

Ohhh, so that score they give you is worth....what? Who uses it?

No idea... when I contacted them before I knew what FAKO vs FICO was, they advised me the score was for educational purposes only and may not be what lenders use.

There's an old Megadeth B-side track that if played backwards reveals the secret rituals by which a consumer can see this score. Be warned, these rituals are not for the faint of heart. The ingredients are rare, and chilling... and the ritual itself will leave a deep psychological scar. You will be changed forever.

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
