I just noticed that my light bill is reporting monthly on my EQ report after I got a notice from myfico that my balance had decreased on an account. It is listed as one of my revolving accounts. Now, of course this account will report a balance every month because it is a utility bill. My questions is, how does fico factor in this kind of accounts? Do utility bills count toward my total utilization the same as a credit card would?
