There was an old chargeoff on my Exp and Eq reports that was erroneous and outdated. I contacted the OC and they said, "You're right. That is erroneous and outdated. Attached is a form for you with this updated info. Sorry about that. All four CRAs were notified today to remove this account from your credit reports."
So my questions are: Do the CRAs update reports as information comes in, or do they update weekly or??? If they were all notified on 3/7, how long should it take before the item is removed?
It wasn't showing on my TU, but it was on my Eq and Exp reports. They also report to Innovis, but I don't even know what that is.
So all of this transpired on March 7th, which is over a week ago. Anyone have any idea when this change should show up on my reports?
It's just a guess, but it's probably already happened. Have you checked? Do you have report numbers?
If you do, you can go to their dispute links and click on "new dispute" and see if the item is still there to dispute.

I did check, and it's still on there. It should be a nice score boost when it finally hits though, I'm guessing. Nice to have something to look forward to, eh?
Took another peek: It's gone from Experian, but not from Equifax. I have ScoreWatch, so I am hoping to get good news when it hits Equifax.
