How important is the Age of your Credit?

I did a mini spree and added a few cards, now I am a bit worried...

1. What is a safe amount of applications to apply for?

2. Has anyone seen huge score drops when adding new accounts?

Length of history accounts for 15% of your FICO score.

It's good to have 3 credit cards and an installment loan.

Every profile is different when it comes to a drop in your AAOA. Scores, ect ect ect....

Id like to know the general rule of thumb aswell, but I guesss since everyone is different it is hard to say, You may be able to App for 10 cards, and i can only try for a couple and recieve the same 'hit'
