My Santander Line of Credit was 30 Days late in August.
They have a cut off time for 4PM for phone payments (automated system).
It was 29 days past due... I was in Missouri at the time... and I called to make the payment at 3:30pm
there automated system said payments will be procced same day if it is befor 4pm and then continued...
However I recieved a 30 day late from this.... they said it posted after 4pm
It did not specify 4PM Eastern Time... i was on Central Time.
How would you go about disputing this?
I would call them and explain what happened and ask them to remove the late from your credit report. If they say no, send in letters, call, email, whatever until someone says yes
If the LOC is an open-ended account, you might consdier filing a dispute under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA).

Is that just a normal dispue thru the CRA's?
That's the route I took filing the complaint it only took 2 days to update my CR. First try talking to the company you never know if you need a favor in the future from them. Those complaints are taken very seriously. Good luck.

Go on their website Google it look to the right where it states file a claim
