Start with pulling your FREE CR's from (ACR) annualcreditreport.com . they tend to have more info on them, then ones from a 3rd party. The CR's from ACR, come directly from each of the CRA's. You can pull 1 Free CR from TU,EQ and EX every 12 months.
Save your money and Don't Buy the Scores, they are what we call FAKO's.
Have you pulled your direct free ones yet?
Have you ever got your free credit reports from annualcreditreport.com? You get one free from each CRA once every 12 months.
Yes, you could use the denial to get a free one too.
Finally typed one faster than guiness,, OK,, I used a macro.

Lol!
I pulled my free annual scores in Oct. 12. Gotta wait to pull them again. **sigh**
You can still use the denial letter to get one from the CRA they used. This can be done from annualcreditreport.com also.
Cool, thanks! I'm setting that in motion now.
Equifax is charging $7.00 for the FICO score. Is this right?
The score they are charing you is a FAKO score. I believe Equifax stop selling Fico scores to consumers back in 2009.
What now, then? Trans Union also had a $7.95 fee for their FICO/FAKO score too. Should I just go ahead and get the reports, and work from them? I'd really like to know what my true FICO scores are at this point, so that I can accurately monitor my progress.
