This one is very tough. I tried disputing it, came back verified. I tried the BBB, they just respond back with they won't look into it anymore. Tried CFPB, they just go "we've forwarded it". What is my next bet? Keep disputing? Rinse and repeat?
What is the basis for a dispute? Is it not yours?
Can you give us more info....
How old is the CO (compliance date)?
Is it paid or open?
What state are you in (looking for the SOL)?
Using the BBB is hit or miss. I know some members swear by it, but I personally have not seen a lot of success using them. Is the acount reporting to TU only? Was it reporting to EX or EQ previously? Did it have different DofFD's on each report? Different amounts owed, etc? If the account IS reporting wrong, THAT gives you a legal basis for disputing.
Right. It was disputed under similar name/persons. The address of what they have listed doesn't match mine.
The DofD was Dec '09, CO'ed June '10. It is closed with a zero balance, but reporting. In '08 I moved out to California, but this account has an address listed with Minnesota (parent's address) so the SOL should expire by December.
It was reporting on EQ and EX. EQ came right off, EX came off with the BBB. TU has been tough. All reporting the same, although, the account has a different city for the mailing address.
Is this your account?
Does it matter?

Yes, it does matter. He was asking whether or not the account was actually yours.
No, it isn't.
When you are disputing, are you mailing in a copy of the police report too? If not you need to.
What police report?
