How to handle Enhanced Recovery 73.00 collection *UPDATE*

First off this account has to be REALLY old because we have not had comcast for years. I have not received anything in the mail or any phone calls on this account ever. I have been settling and asking for deletion of all of our collections this week and this is the only one left. Should I call and offer 40.00

Update-

I received a letter today from Enhanced that said they verified information and will delete all information with all CRAs. They also said that letter was in response to dispute and not an attempt to collect a debt. However they did include copies of an old bill from  2008 (oc- comcast). So will it go away permanently? Should I send a pdf? I think I've read other similar experiences and I'm curious if the stayed off of CR for good. Please share any experiences.

I really don't know. I didn't even know that I owed comcast money. I haven't had comcast for at least 5 years or more. I will find a sample DV and send it out. Thanks!

You will also need to know the name of the CA, you will either need to get a more detailed report or contact the CRA for the information.  A PFD is the way to go though, in my opinion.

Re: How to handle Enhanced Recovery 73.00 collection *UPDATE*

I had the exact same issue with them and they immediately removed it after a DV. 3 days later it was off my reports and a few days later I received a letter from them stating it had been removed with a removal reference # just invade I had any issues with the CRAs.
