I had an auto loan through Chase bank in 2008. During this time I was living in southern Louisiana when Hurricanes Gustav and Ike made landfall. I was forced to evacuate for these events and I started to fall behind on my payments during this time. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows if Chase Bank was giving deferments to victims of these natural disasters and if anything could be done after the fact update my payment history on my CRs. I tried to talk to customer service rep from Chase and they didn't sound too eager to help me, I'm guessing because this loan was paid in full since 2010. Any suggestions?
