Husbands credit card

My husband and I have been rebuilding our credit since late 2012. He's an AU on my CC. I opened the card on 1/12. His CC was opened on 10/12. Should I add myself as an AU. Would it make any difference since the card hasn't been opened that long? My payment history on CR sucks student loans have killed me.

What does your revolving utilization look like on both cards? If your utilization increases as a result of being added then it may drop your FICO score.
