I sent the last payment today(a monster) for a 1 year old med bill that never hit my reports and paid a couple hundred on some other debt. And i just remembered I have 1 more unpaid 1k med bill floating around out there somewhere that i need to find before it hits.
I now have about $400.00 spread out between 4 bank accounts and am officially living paycheck to paycheck. Every dime i make in the next 3 months is spread out on some google spreadsheet and spoken for by creditors. It... really... sucks. Oh but I'm so looking forward to paying back taxes the entire next year lovely.
ok sorry, i just had to share my stress before i really panicked. ahhhhhhhhhh.... deep breath..... thanks for listening and yes, I created this entire mess.
Yes, but you are fixing this mess. And that says alot. Good luck!
Are you able to do any overtime at work to give you a little wiggle room? You still can't forget to take care of you. You don't want to have to rely on CC (if you have them) should something go wrong. I wish you the very best in your credit journey and hope you're not broke for too much longer
hang in there. Things will get better. Most of us have been there too.
I have been there before. Just remember that there is only one way to go...up from here. Good luck to you
I'm in that situation as well, friend. It's a good feeling when you start getting the results though!
thanks all. it really seems to work when i "check in" here every day. it keeps the rebuild in front of me and keeps it active and alive. i'm here for the duration. cheers
I hear you! I paid off my tax payment plan with the IRS in April (had been paying of $4000 over 2 years), paid a judgment in January and another in May - all told I've paid off about $8000+ in the last 8 months. It hurt, but it's so good to know it's gone and not coming back!
Good for you for making it happen!
