Even with the debacle that I previously posted about regarding my recent numerous 180 day lates due to a payment plan that I enetered into with AMEX (which mistake I 100% own):
I am happy to report that my EQ score today is 720, my TU is 707 and my EXP is 698. My utilization went down over the last month from 70% to 64% on balances of about 50k. These are scores from myFICO.com
I seriously might have dodged a big bullet.
Seeing the 720 today is an early Christmas gift!! 
Congrats on your progress. Keep working on that UTIL and paying on time and your scores will keep heading in the right direction.
