how did you go about finding out if they are licensed in your state?

I'm pretty sure that LVNV doesn't need to hold a separate license from Resurgent Capital.   As long as Resurgent is licensed, they can collect under the name LVNV.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

LVNV, Resurgent and all of its affiliates were band from practicing in Maryland.. Google it.. its an easy find.

I found out about by researching LVNV and looking at boards similar to MyFico and I found out this information and forwarded to BBB. As I stated earlier, I'm not sure if this is what help as I had other complaints as well. My card was lost/stolen; no dunning notice..etc
