I am SO confused please help me!

Ok I have been reading and reading and I just do not get it lol!  Ok here is my first question.  I am looking at my credit report right now.  There are collections on there that say Date Opened: 11/24/2006... but is not reported until 2/19/2009!?!?  Isn't that a long time to not report??  So now so I have to wait until 2015 for this to "fall" off??  I just do not get why it is being reported SO late!

I think the important date to remember is the date of deliquency.  I think it falls off after the first date it was reported delinquent.

I am probaly wrong though.
