Paying collections doesnt help your score..
Getting NEWER collections removed? That is huge, huge for score boosting...
I would work to remove those ASAP --- I would actually contact whoever you owe the money to (not the CA, the OC) and see if you can work out an agreement to pay the debt to the OC and have them recall the collection.. its not a perfect science, and they arent REQUIRED to do it, but they often will if you can get the OC to agree to is..
If that is a no go, I would try PFD with them
When are you looking to buy the house by??

Just paying them will not help your score at all, and could cause them to be viewed as more recent. Your best option for helping your score would be to work out a PFD on the old collections.
The medicals are for ER Doctors and the Collection Agency is very rude and want to cuss & yell at me. I asked them for a PFD and they told me I was trying to comitt fraud by even asking them to do that. I called the Hospital to see if I could just pay them or the ER Doctor and they told me no.
We are looking to buy by the end of this year but I need about 20-30 more points.
You are not committing fraud by asking them. It's illegal to post wrong information, not no information. As far as the yelling and cussing goes, that shows the mentality of some of these bottom feeders. There are more decent and legitimate CAs out there, but there are a lot of shady ones too.
Crapital one pull your 3 credit bureas so i dont know how many points you lose there.....its happen to me....give me 300 limit and pull 3 bureaus......;-(

Well, if you have limited options (which I am guessin by a 300 dollar cap1 limit) you take what you can get..
I didn't care about 3 inqs, I was pumped to get a credit card when I got my first Cap1 haha

Oh don't get me wrong. I have one too! Just know it's not going to grow but grateful to get it.
What do you mean by "not grow"? Are others not seeing any score jumps from having a Cap1 card?

No, it's not that - a Cap One card will report to the bureaus, so with good behavior you should see better scores. What they mean is that the credit limit won't grow. Ideally, as you show good creditworthy habits, your credit limit will get higher. Cap 1 cards just don't really grow into higher credit limits.
