I have been trying to find an unauthorized withdrawal that one of these card companies attempted to make to my account in 2010. It happens to fall right on the month that they turned my account over to NCO (for collection only, Cap1 still owns it). I finally found it in my old eStatements and it was a $259.00 "phone payment" to Capital One (never called them) that overdrafted my account and caused several other small payments to overdraft my account on top of that.
All this time I've been GWing them and receiving a lot of denial calls, I am wondering if I can use this to have them deleted from my report and how I could go about doing so. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I call them, write them, file a complaint with BBB..? I've already paid the account off and just want it removed. NCO is not on my CR at all, so it's just Cap1.
