I worked my tail off, I now have 3 4 1/2 in binders full if statements and letters. Stay organized.
I did not pay any other than 5, the others I disputed something, address account number, anything I could find that was incorrect. Usually the creditor didn't respond and it was deleted.
The majority of my bills were medical so I wrote sympathetic letters to the OC directly and advised situation, disabled, no income, unemployed. .. They asked for proof and I sent it in.
Used the HIPPAA process on some.
The judgments I wrote letters to the courts (speeding tickets)
I did a couple PFD
The rest I either did a PFD or I PIF and asked to delete.
At one point I used LL but realized very quickly I could do what they did so dumped them BUT they really helped with judgments.
Did several GW letters to remove 6 inquiry's.

As far as how I boosted my scores..
Getting the negatives off 1st as stated above but while doing that I opened 2 secured cards and eventually 2 credit cards, I maxed.. Paid in full, maxed, paid in full. I did this every month.
I had no credit history so I became an AU on 2 credit cards with high credit lines, his credit became mine. I gained 45 points this way.
I opened a Credit Builder" gained 34 points from that, I know this because it was closed on accident and credit score dropped 34 points..
There is a lot out there but I think getting good at letter writing, organization and using this website every single step of the way.
