how's your credit mix?
AAoA?
Paradoxically, a consumer who has no bad info and has good util is usually the least likely to see changes in their credit score.
Large upward gains come primarily from fixing what is wrong, such as deletion of derogs and reduction of high util.
Normal upward gains are due primarily to account aging, which is slooow. Measured more in years than months.
Two CCs gives you multiple revolving, so not bad there.
Adding an installment loan might improve credit mix, but that is not a major scoring category.
The tendency to app for new accounts to improve score is a two-edged sword. You will take short term hits based on the inquiries needed to get those accounts, and once approved, you will necessarily see a reduction in your average age of accounts.
Patience and age seems to be your friend.
so AAoA sounds about 2-3 years? Anything negative on your reports?
you could try and GW that late, but doubtful its even still hurting you much(30 day im guessing?) Other than that, sounds like time is your score factor now... Keep in good standing and in 6 months - year you will probably be looking in the 660-700 range.
When was your most recent late? How late was it?
How many collections are listed on your reports? How long ago was the most recent one?
What is your utilization?
How many inquiries do you have?
If you don't have any major derogatories like 90+ day lates, you may have been rebucketed.
