I just received a settlement offer from ALW Sourcing.
On the notice it has:
CREDITOR: NCO Portfolio Management
Total Balance: $1153.19
The settlement is for 40% of the total balance listed above.
Now on the back it has
Former Creditor: WFNNB/EXPRESS
Regarding: Express
Purchased balance: $727.07
Interest: $426.12
Interest Rate: 6.00
Total: $1153.19
Also on the front it does state i have 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt or any portion thereof, this office will assume this debt is valid.
So my question is do i still send a DV letter? i have to tell you this debt is VERY old. I have to check my CR to see if it is even on there.
