IRS tax lien removal while still paying?

Has anyone had a IRS lien removed/withdrawn before you're done paying?  Were you sending payments yourself on an installment plan or did you have a direct debit plan?

I found my notes that said if I set up a debit plan I can have it removed from my credit after 3 good payments.  I am having my employers send it in because it's just easier...   I had forgotten about this debit thing until I read my chicken scratch 4 or 5 months into my payments.  I'll have it switched to debit if this is the case.  Just cuious if it ever worked for anyone?

Thanks.  Smiley Happy

Re: IRS tax lien removal while still paying?

I have read about posters getting theirs deleted while paying.  The IRS website also mentions it.
