If I were to close a CC

Okay, so my CC account was just recently changed over to another bank who is starting to charge me a monthly fee of like $8. I don't want to bother with them anymore, so if I were to close the account opened in 10/2010, and my avg age of accts is 2 years and 5 months--would this really negative affect my credit score? Or just mildly? I've had two of my CC since 4/2008 when I turned 18. Thanks!
