Re: If OC TL gets deleted what happens to the CA TL?

Ginger, if the debt falls off this month, it's too early to dispute it.  Check your reports the month after the date they are suppose to fall off first before taking action.  A dispute can take 30 days and actually delay something that would have naturally happened on it's own.  So no need to force it until it's actually wrong information next month.

No unless the last CA re aged the account it should fall of your reports as per the DOFD with the original owner of the account which is the OC.
If it's past the reporting SOL it cannot be reported.

Re: If OC TL gets deleted what happens to the CA TL?

Any collection, regardless of when reported, must be excluded by the CRA no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD.

FCRA 605(c).

The CRAs can, and usually do, exclude a bit earlier than the full 7 years plus 180 days.

There can be variation between the CRAs as to when they exclude, and variations between exclusion of OD account derogs and collections based on the discretion of the CRAs to exclude a bit early.

They normally exclude at approx 7 years from DOFD.

However, there is no disputable violation by the CRA until the full 7 plus 180 has expired.
