I was declined for a card today and reaosn was "#of public record and Derogatory tradelines exceed maximum"
I've seen a similar repsonse before too and was wondering if I should be trying to get some of those negative tradelines removed. I have 25 tradelines that were reported in Bankruptcy which was discharged in chapter 7 sept. 2013.
I alwasy thought they reallly didn't matter much anymore because BK wiped them all out and if reviewers saw them they would think the same.
