Incorrect Birthdate

I purchased the Scorewatch from Equifax on Myfico and I noticed my birthday appears as a year BEFORE I was born. How important is that to get fixed? And how should I go about fixing it??

It should be fixed will help avoid poss ID Theft. Just make copy of state or federal ID with correct bdate and mail with letter asking it be corrected.
