I just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to all of you for helping me along my path to financial success, of which credit is a key component. I fought the dragon (Jefferson Capital) and I won. They were reporting a Tribute card with an outrageous balance that I disputed using the FTC ruling. I could not have even began to fight this battle without the guidance of this forum. I also managed to get a deletion from Fresno Credit Bureau for my DH. He now has a perfect credit file, no baddies at all. I am insanely jealous of him but know that with this forum's help I will get there sooner than later. I'm almost there with Midland, they've come close to deleting and just need the final push!

Honestly my thing with Midland was to dispute with the CRAs and they couldn't verify. I think it was sheer luck (or employee incompetence).

Can you please well me how you got rid of Jefferson Capital?! They are a thorn in my side and reporting the hell out of me every month keeping my score from growing!

Tell me more about Midland please, did you try to validate the loan with original creditor? I am new at this.
