I have 10-12 inquiries scheduled to fall from my reports by 3/1....anyone think this could possibly give me a boost?
I know it wouldn't be much..but i'll be happy for even a point.
So they will be over two years old on that date? Even if they don't give you a massive boost, it certainly looks better on manual recon with them off. And since approval, either instant or manual, is the ultimate goal... It's a good thing.

Even though the inquiries are on your report for two years, only inquiries in the past 12 months affect FICO scoring... so no boost. The good news is that if you apply for new credit, creditors would not be able to see those 10-12 inquries which dropped off. Some creditors use their own scoring models in addition to FICO which might include inquiries older than a year(but in reality, most actually tend to focus only on those six months or older.
Thank you both for the great info.
