Installment Loan missing from report

Hello Everyone,

I am rebuilding my credit after having neglected so long.

I have 2 installment loans appearing on equifax, and Trans Union. 1 has been paid in full, no lates or missed payments.

Experian though only shows the current car loan, but has no record of the paid off car loan. If it was on my report from experian, it would give me more credit history and improve my score?

The current car loan is current with no lates. or missed payments.

Is there a way to get experian to put that on my report or am I out of luck?

Thanks for any and all replies!

Re: Installment Loan missing from report

Not all creditors report to all three credit reporting agencies all the time.     I find this more often in installment loans.   Calling the credit reporting agency won't work.  You need to call the lender and ask if they will report.   I had to do that recently and they complied with my request.
