Oh ok, there is no requirement for them to answer a PFD offer. I would be careful of making reduced amount offers if this debt is still inside the SOL they could still use the courts to get a judgment. If its past SOL then there is no problem. You might try contacting them by phone, if they give you a verbal commitment that is binding as well and you might even record the call they certainly will be.
