I use Score Watch and myFico Quarterly Monitoring....Best decision I ever made. Between the both of them I pay $20 a month and like stated above major OCD!!!! It really helps you to clean up and pay old debt on your CR's!!!!!!

Well, if a fellow Bears fan reccommends it, it must be good.

I'll probably keep for three months and then go from there.

BEAR DOWN!!!! I signed up back in Oct to myFICO, Dec I purchased myFICO quarterly monitoring and in Jan 13' I purchased Score Watch, I paid off old debt that I knew was mine, fought the harders ones with my consumer attorney and won!!!! I started with a Fico score of 495. I'm glad to say im over 700. This is a great site and a lot of helpful people here. If you ever need help or advise PM anytime!!!!

Hey what is a consumer attorney .. what did he help acheive?? i have 3 majors that i havent paid and i kinda want to let them fall off but i would love to know my options.. I have a car loan c/o set to fall off end of 2014 $6900 and old c/o cc $700 set to fall off mid 2014 AND a technical school claiming i owe them 14k which seems impossible with my calculations but they are on there until 2016 i believe.I REALLYYYY want to apply to mortgage before then like feb 2014.

Consumer Attorneys look for any type of FDCPA and FCRA violations that are reporting on your CR's. When I first got into cleaning my credit up I signed up here then found one my local area faxed over all 3 credit reports gave him a couple days to review he called me back and found numerous FDCPA violations I let him do his thing, I sat back and enjoyed ice cold beers Smiley Happy

Re: Is Score Watch worth paying for?

I have Score Watch, Quarterly Monitoring (from myFICO.com), Credit Karma (free) and USAA's/Experian's Unlimited daily 3 bureau credit reports and scores -

Based upon usuage of all those, my opinion is that Score Watch IS NOT worth the $15 per month. My opinion. I'll keep it because I can afford it - but if I couldn't afford it I would dump it in a heart beat because I find that PROBABLY ordering their Power Score report every few months would be more valuable than what they charge $14.95 for now, monthly.

Re: Is Score Watch worth paying for?

Maybe I'll just sign up for the quarterly monitoring since it's only $5/month.

Re: Is Score Watch worth paying for?

I decided to keep it.  I called to cancel my free trial and was offered the $9.95 price.  I'll try it out for the three months and decide if it's still worth it at the end of that time.
