Is it OK to dispute while waiting on DV response?

Is this risky?  I know disputing can be risky but I was thinking running both at the same time may light a fire to have the CA respond to you.

In my experience, it has backfired. I'd wait it out. How long since you mailed the DV?

For West Asset I got a letter over a month ago after a DV req stating they do not own the acct and would have it deleted.  I gave it 30 days and it's still on the CR.  So I mailed another letter which they rec'd 3/31.

For Portfolio Recovery they got the 1st DV request 2/22.  They got the 2nd DV req 4/12.  I have never gotten a response. Same story with 2 other CAs.
