Thanks for your experience. In your experience did Midland send a legal notice right away? For me they just recently puchased the account. I haven't even receive the initial collection notice yet. I'm hoping to hold out til I have money in early next year.
My goal is to build a small savings until I have at least double my monthly output (bills etc) then consider settling. I want to have back up money for situations like losing jobs, injury, etc.
