A free service like credit karma updates before myfico does. I paid a Cap 1 balance down from 44% to 30% uti. It updated on Equifax on the 21th, and CK on the 24th, still waiting for it to show on myfico. Unless something like that doesn't warrant an increase in points. I have my settings to alert 4pts above my current score.
It's not a myFICO vs CK issue on the updating. It's EQ and TU. they can only display the info the CRAs have posted.
I thought equifax usually posted before transunion.
Some say so, some say different. It seems different for everyone.

You should have your settings set at your EXACT current score. MyFICO seems to work best that way. I don't know what your current score is, but let's say it was 667. Set the notification at EXACTLY 667. That way if your score moves off that number you are notified.
So I broke down and bought a score report. It's showing the two new balances. Still no score increase, and I paid two accounts down from about 50% uti to 30%. I'm just chomping at the bit. 14 points away from 700 club. Sorry, it's making me a lil crazy
