Its been 6 long years

I SOLD MY HOME IN 2003 , I HAD 6 LATE MORTGAGE  PAYMENTS, THE LAST ONE IN APRIL 2003. That account is  approaching 6 years old. Should I expect a score bump?

Re: Its been 6 long years

Not likely. How old are the lates? Generally 30 or 60 day lates tend to fade off after two years, socre-wise. I just had my 2nd to last late (30 days) drop off a TL last month and was approaching 7 yrs old. There was no change. An associated 90 day will come off next month and am eager to see if there is any bump, but not expecting one.

Re: Its been 6 long years

You could possibly see a bump with the 90, but you are apt to see one if it is removed.
