After waiting almost 3 months from receiving my letters from Jefferson Cap agreeing to delete my paid collections, EQ finally deleted the negative tradeline from my credit file! I initiated a dispute in January and it was removed February 21st. I'm so excited!!! I hope it's this easy for the last 3 paid collections.

What did you do to get them to delete your collection? I just sent them a payoff yesterday along with a letter requesting that the account be deleted from my credit report.

For me EQ took the longest but all the others were deleted the following month. Have you initiated a dispute with the CRA's?

I sent a goodwill letter asking them to deleted the negative tradeline because the paid the settlement they offered and they sent a letter back stating it would be deleted.
Can you PM me a copy of the letter text? Please?
I just sent them payment in full last week.
