I have a judgement against me from Capital One that was handled by The Eaton Group. I want to pay the judgement, but before I do should I ask them if they will vacate it?
I live in Louisiana, so I am not certain how this is done, but a friend told me that she had a judgement against her that was showing her on credit report. She paid the judgement off and several months later when she was in the process of buying a car and they pulled her credit report, the judgement was no longer showing. She said she did not ask to have it vacated or anything.
Anybody have any sugestions on how I should handle this.
