Judgment Settlement lump sum vs.payment

I recently have been attempting to fix my credit. I had 2 judgements one I had vacated and the other is willing to settle for 2000 on a 6000 judgement. My question is the one that is willing to settle is no longer showing on my credit report. Should I pay them a lump sum or payments after payment they will vacate judgement. My hands are tied because I had thought i had settled it several years ago and sign some documentation now I owe the balance or else they might be able to enforce full judgement.

Since it is a judgment they can get their money via a garnishment regardless of whether it is showing on your credit report.  Since it is not showing on the report (I am assuming the time has passed) then I would do the payment plan if it is easier on your budget.  If you have the monies to do the lump sum and it won't cause you financial hardships then I would say go that route just for the piece of mind of knowing you don't have the debt anymore.
