Having come out ok Chapter 7 BK and over the years not really taking my credit serious...I decided a week ago to take charge, I pulled my credit report from myfico and retreived my credit score and notice so much negative information on there. I have lived without credit cards for over 4 years, I will admit I do not miss them at all, but now have learned how instrumental they could be to my road to rebuilding credit. I decided to tackle all my credit card charge-off accounts and since everyone was having succcess with Chase I PM a few people who sent me the Chase contact info...wrote my GW letter and sent the email yesterday and 24 hours later I received a call from Chase Executive office telling me that they could not modify information on my credit report tradeline but could remove it all together...........i was almost in tears what a way to start the day. I owe this success story to all of you on this forum and I pray that others will do what I have done and learn from the forum and take charge of their credit. I did not realize how easy it was I did not even have to spend a dime on stamps.
With Chase Down........Citi, BoA and a few paid collections to go....I started with an EQ credit score of 598 and I am hoping to get into the Mid 600s very soon!!
