Well, this past year I have been able to open up several accounts as well as get any and all past due accounts taken care of. All my current debt is just that "current", my scores are continuing to increase since I started actively working on my credit last July, and have learned so much here. Now just gotta play the waiting game...like I said I paid off all old CO's/debt, got some removed, and now just waiting for the rest to fall off my reports. It may have been a tough route and slower, but I am proud to say I didn't file BK.
Thanks

Congrats. Since you said you paid all of your debts off. Have you sent out GW letters to try and maybe get some more things removed?
I also am proud that I never had to go the BK route. I am max 7 months from a clean file.

yeah, tried PFD and then GW letters. Worked on some....even got some lates removed on several student loans. I made mistakes and paid them off and now just need to wait for time to pass.

Way to go!
I know what you said about not filing BK. I had several suggest that I do as I was in for over $106,000 in medical bills. As of this week (7 1/2 months later) I am debt free and did not file BK. It feels good!!!
