I just wanted to take a moment and say thanks to everyone here for their advice and for sharing their experiences. I was new to these forums in February and have learned so much from everyone on here. When I started my scores were in the high 500's and now both are above 700. My desire when I started this journey was to improve my scores so I could secure a new auto loan and get a better credit card. The advice that everyone gives about Credit Unions is 100% accurate, CU's are awesome! I opened an account with my local CU on a Tuesday and was approved for an auto loan for a 2008 BMW 550i for $35,000 @ 4.75% for 72 mos. Then I asked for a Visa and requested a credit line of $7,500 and got a rewards card with an interest rate of 9.75% Knowledge is power, but what we have here is applied knowledge, which is where the real power is! Thank you everyone!
Jason
