They said omce this is paid the score will go up. Also they said they would take care of this on their end. YAY! I am praying they will remove it. It surely sounds like it.
Take care of it on their end, rather vague on that, does that mean mark PIF or will delete?

I think she means delete it. It is the owners personal email and I dont think she would reply if she didnt want to do it. This is her last email to me because I dont remember getting the letters. I also think they have the wrong phone number because I dont get calls either :-/.
This is her response:
yes, we did mail you a validation notice on 01/14/2011 and a follow up notice 03/15/11. We also make calls weekly.
I will put a note on your account that you will be paying on Wednesday and that we will clear this matter with your credit file.
I will be glad to assist you with your mortgage company and this should increase your score.
They will be able to do a rapid rescore and if this is the only item preventing you from moving forward, it will be handled on our end.

Thanks Shogun! That leaves me at 3 collections and the child support reporting incorrectly.
Child support refuses to update my past year and a half record even though I have the proof on their own state letter head that it has been paid. That is 15 violations at 1000 per violation plus my mortgage lender wrote me a letter stating I could not get a loan with it being reported that way. hopefully with all this proof and a letter from my attorney they will update it. 
Why cause so many problems when they know they are wrong

LOL yup, I am surprised though. My score hasnt seem to of changed too much but I am really going to buy the house in the middle of next year. I do need to keep reminding myself I started out with 18 collections and now I am down to 3. A LOT of them were in error though, but I guess it dosent matter because they were still there.
Did your score jump when your last one came off? (please say yes)
Did it go up? about 40 points, and has gone up another 8 since then, I just haven't updated.

40 points is a huge jump! Something I look forward too. 
Still amazing and I am so happy for you still! My next one is CSD is hard to work with, they just ignore everything! :-/
