Hello Group,
It's been a while since I've posted a question but I'm back at it with LVNV once again. Over the summer LVNV filed a judgment against me and it was reported to the CRA's since then the account has been paid but they were reporting I owed $295. That amount was disputed and the balance is now showing zero but under the comments it reads "settled for less than the original balance". This is incorrect because the account was paid in full and I received a letter from the attorney stating it's been paid in full. Does the comments make a difference if the balance shows zero? Thanks in advance for your help.
I would send a direct dispute to LVNV showing the judgement was paid in full. It help's showing it has a $0 now but a manual look of your credit report showing settled for less is not to appealing to someone who wants to extend credit.

Thanks DaBears for your response. I spoke with the law office and they advised me to contact LVNV as well since they are the ones reporting the information. They also stated I could send proof to the CRA but I'll start with LVNV.
