Last unpaid account PAID!

Feels great to see that my last unpaid account will report from $4,800 to $0 in the next couple weeks.  This was a personal loan with OneMain Financial that I let go into collection almost 3 years ago.  They have been reporting the CO balance each month and I know that has been killing my scores.  Im in the low to mid 600s and can't wait to see what will happen with this being paid.

All I know is when I tried to graduate my US Bank secured card, they denied me due to this balance still being unpaid.  Ready to get that graduated and start working towards a top tier card.

My Cards: CSP: $5,000 // Hyatt: $5,000 // Cap1 Venture: $5,000 // US Bank Plat: $3,500 // Discover: $1,000 // AMEX BCE: $1,000 // Lowes: $5,500 // Furniture Row: $3,500 // Buckle Store Card: $750

Current MyFico Scores: EX 687 EQ 696 TU 687 Gardening from 5/15 till 5/16

I hope that once it's updated, you'll be able to graduate!! That will be exciting. Smiley Happy  Is it an automatic upgrade, same card/number, or do you need to apply for a new card?

Re: Last unpaid account PAID!

The US Bank secured card is NOT an automatic upgrade.  You have to call and request to graduate.  It is a HP but the account stays the same.  Not sure if they change the account number or not but I do know it is the same account which helps with AAoA.

Knowing that all I have left to pay is my student and car notes which are current, makes me feel so good! No more debt!
